Honest Cremation Options

Cremation Services and Memorial Options

Honest Cremation provides straightforward cremation arrangements with several levels of support. Every package includes professional care, refrigeration, required documents, death-certificate filing, cremation, an alternative cremation container, an online obituary, and status updates.

Families may select additional merchandise and services during the arrangement process. Availability may depend on the package selected, the condition of the deceased, scheduling, and the circumstances of the death.

Choose the Level of Support You Need

Our three cremation packages allow families to choose the level of scheduling, personal assistance, merchandise, and convenience that best fits their needs.

Basic Package

Our simplest option includes online arrangements or guided assistance from Jane, standard scheduling, transfer from an eligible hospital, inpatient hospice facility, or medical examiner’s office, and scheduled pickup at our Fort Worth crematory.

Priority Package

Our most popular package adds residential and facility transfers, faster scheduling, assistance from a dedicated arrangement specialist by phone, an upgraded urn, one certified Texas death certificate, and the required cremation permit.

Premium Package

Our most complete package includes highest-priority scheduling, flexible arrangement options with a funeral director, an engraved permanent urn, veteran and national-cemetery coordination when eligible, and the choice of office pickup or USPS Priority Mail Express shipping.

Private Identification Viewing

A private identification viewing provides a brief opportunity for immediate family members to see their loved one before cremation.

This is not a formal visitation or funeral ceremony. The service includes minimum preparation of the deceased and a scheduled 30-minute viewing at our Fort Worth crematory for up to five people.

Private identification viewing is available with the Premium Package for an additional $690. It must be completed within 96 hours of the deceased entering our care and is subject to scheduling, availability, the condition of the deceased, and the funeral director’s assessment.

Memorial Service

Families may choose to hold a memorial gathering after the cremation has taken place.

Unlike a funeral ceremony or visitation, a memorial service is held without the deceased present. It may include photographs, music, readings, personal remarks, religious elements, or other meaningful tributes.

Honest Cremation offers a Memorial Service Add-On for $1,995. Details and availability can be discussed with our team during arrangements.

A family may also choose to organize an independent gathering at a church, private home, restaurant, community venue, cemetery, or another meaningful location.

Veteran Honors and Cemetery Coordination

Eligible veterans may qualify for military funeral honors, a United States burial flag, a Presidential Memorial Certificate, and burial or inurnment in a national or state veterans cemetery. With veterans among our team, it is always our honor to support other veterans and their families.

Our Premium Package includes assistance coordinating eligible veteran honors and national-cemetery arrangements. Military-service documentation is required (an honorable discharge or DD-214), and eligibility is determined by the Veteran Affairs National Scheduling Agency with support from our team.

Families using a private cemetery remain responsible for cemetery charges, merchandise, and other third-party expenses.

Planning Ahead

Preplanning allows individuals to document their wishes and make financial arrangements before the need arises.

Preplanning is available through Honest Cremation’s Premium Package. A funeral director can explain the available funding options, included services, and any applicable third-party charges.
